Steven M. Laufer, Esq.


Steven is a co-founder of Promenade Senior Living and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. With a passion for seniors, a hands-on approach, and commitment to detail, Steven oversees Promenade’s strategic direction and performance, while spearheading the expanding operations of the company.

Steven earned his J.D. from Fordham University.

Ben Laufer

President of Development

Ben is a co-founder of Promenade Senior Living and serves as the President of Development. With a background in Real Estate development and management, Ben is responsible for overseeing the company’s developments, acquisitions, and Capital Improvement program.

Ben has a bachelors degree in Accounting from Sy Syms School of Business.

Paul Belitsis, CPA


Paul serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Promenade Senior Living. Paul has over 25 years of experience in strategic development and execution, financial and operational management, regulatory compliance, process improvement and budgeting and forecasting. He was the CFO of a licensed home care services agency. Prior to that, Paul was VP of Finance at an information technology solutions enterprise. He began his professional career in public accounting where he spent seven years at KPMG. Paul is a certified public accountant and a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John’s University in Queens, New York.

Jodi Gittelman, RN, M.P.A.

Regional Director

Jodi has been with Promenade Senior Living for over 10 years, and serves as a Regional Director. Commited to the well-being of senior for over 25 years, Jodi oversees the quality of operations at Promenade. Jodi previously served as a Director of a licensed not-for profit Home Care Agency, and more recently, as a senior Executive Director at a large national assisted living company. She has a New York State Nursing License.

Jodi has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, as well as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from New York University with a concentration in health care.

Milana Kirshensteyn


Milana has been with Promenade Senior living for over twelve years, and currently serves as Controller overseeing Promenade’s financial operations and functions. Prior to joining Promenade, Milana served in similar capacities in the Hospitality industry.

Milana has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Accounting from Hunter College.

David Pomerantz, MBA


David has been with Promenade Senior Living since 2013. During that time he has served as our head of Compliance ensuring that Promenade’s Assisted Living Programs and Social Model Senior Day Program adhere to all regulatory standards.

David earned his bachelor and MBA degrees in Finance and Economics from the New York University Stern School of Business.

Carol Cunningham

Business Manager

Carol has been with Promenade Senior Living since 2011, and currently serves as Business Manager, overseeing all business operations including financial reporting. Prior to joining Promenade, Carol was the Director of Finance for successive non-profit companies.

Carol has a B.S. in Business Management from SUNY New Paltz.

Mary Rhodes

Human Resources Manager

Mary has been with Promenade Senior Living since 2011, and currently serves as Human Resources Manager overseeing all employee related matters including hiring, policies and procedures; payroll; and benefits administration. . Prior to joining Promenade, Mary was the Human Resources Manager for successive non-profit entities.

Mary graduated from William Paterson University with a BA in Teaching.

Jane Koch

Office Manager

Jane has been with Promenade Senior Living since 2012 and currently serves as Office Manager where she is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Collections for all of our communities. Prior to that, Jane worked for 10 years as a full charge bookkeeper at an excavation company.
